This Coryanthes species has the biggest flower amongst all Coryanthes species. The flowers are around 12 cm in size, having nice fragrance. The flowers resembles a bucket and has very nice purple spots on the inner surface. The plants can bloom well in local climate, flowering around once to twice a year.
