This hybrid by Mituo Orchids in Taiwan is a cross between 2 selected parents. The pod patent, Mituo Purple Dragon, has dark blue to black coloured flowers. The pollen parent, gigantea alba 'Ta Wei' has clear green spots with white base. This batch of plants can possibly have dark blue to purple spots with white base. The flowers will be around 5-6 cm in size, with a strong fragrance.
