This recently described and visually striking species from the lowland forests of Papua New Guinea is instantly recognizable by its elegant, pendant foliage. The leaves, which gracefully arch to 15-20 cm in length, create a handsome cascading effect even when the plant is not in flower. Its blooms, though modest in size (2-3 cm), are complex and intricately detailed, typical of the fascinating Bulbophyllum genus.
