A large, robust Bulbophyllum from New Guinea, prized for its unique "fanned" floral display. It features massive, single 50 cm leaves and thick, erect spikes (23 cm) tipped with a pseudo-umbel of 8-10 waxy yellow-green flowers centered by a small bright red lip. When mature plants produce 3-4 spikes, the overlapping blooms form a circular "mop-head" display.
