This exceedingly rare color form of the Guyanese species C. lawrenceana captivates with its ethereal light blue petals and sepals, dramatically contrasted by a velvety dark blue lip. The blooms (10–12 cm) exhibit the species’ characteristic elegant form—long, slender segments with a gracefully pointed lip. True coerulea forms represent less than 1% of wild populations, making this one of the most elusive and sought-after blue Cattleyas.
