This rare colour form of maxima originated from a mutation of maxima rubra selfings. Extremely slow-growing when young—plants of this size are exceptionally scarce in cultivation. The plants produce pale pink blooms adorned with striking pink venation on the lips. The fragrant blooms appear in clusters of 5-10 per spike, creating a dramatic display.
