Cattleya trianae 'Jungle Feather' JC/AOS
Blooming size division available for sale at $580.
Only 1 plant available.
The plant has 4 growths.
This rare and historically significant cultivar of Colombia's national flower, Cattleya trianae, is distinguished by its unique feathered and flared patterning along the petals' central veins and edges, displaying a striking contrast of lavender and white. The mutation causing this pattern is stable but complex, making the cultivar highly sought after. The large flowers, 6 to 8 inches in size, have a crystalline texture and a sweet fragrance, and are known for their exceptional longevity, often lasting over a month. A vigorous grower, this clone was originally collected from the wild by Fennell's Orchid Jungle and earned its Judges' Commendation (JC/AOS) for its unusual color patterns.
