While the typical form displays vibrant pink to magenta flowers, this coerulea (blue) variety is characterized by its stunning blue to lavender-blue coloration. The flowers feature bluish petals and sepals, beautifully contrasted by a striking dark blue to slate-blue lip, often with yellow keels in the throat. Reaching 12–13 cm across, the blooms are well-formed, strongly fragrant, and long-lasting.
