The plants have 3-4 growths each.
This is the famed 'Edward' clone of Cattleya walkeriana var. coerulea, one of the most celebrated and awarded cultivars of this species, having received seven awards between 2006 and 2014. The flowers are a remarkable light violet-blue to soft lavender, with the characteristic coerulea lip displaying a deeper, slate-blue tone. The blooms open very flat and measure approximately 9 to 12 cm across, appearing on short, few-flowered inflorescences that arise from the base of the pseudobulb. This clone is particularly prized for its intense, lemon-like fragrance, often most noticeable in the early morning.
