Native to the wet tropical forests of Colombia and Peru, Coryanthes seegeri is an epiphytic species with a pendulous, few-flowered inflorescence bearing large, waxy blooms. The flowers are typically pink in coloration, measure approximately 10 cm across, and produce a light, pleasant fragrance.
