A warm-growing epiphytic species from tropical Asia, prized for its dramatic pendulous spring spikes bearing 20–45 fragrant flowers. Each 4.5 cm bloom is pale yellow to cream with a bold central maroon-brown stripe and a white lip densely veined in maroon.
