This white-flowered form of the Hooded Orchid is prized for its cascading display of fragrant, pure-white blooms. While the typical species features pale pink to lavender petals with a white lip, this alba form lacks the anthocyanin pigments entirely, resulting in a pristine all-white flower that contrasts beautifully against the leafless, pendulous canes.
