This large-growing Dendrobium species is native to Java, Bali, and Borneo. It produces clusters of 2 to 7 flowers on short inflorescences that arise from leafless, mature canes. The flowers measure approximately 4 cm and are typically pink to pale yellow, with the defining feature being a broad, spoon-shaped lip.
