This warm-growing slipper orchid species is prized for its glossy, pale yellow flowers. The single-flowered inflorescence carries a bloom measuring approximately 6.5 cm across. The dorsal sepal is white with a yellow central band and raised maroon spots, while the glossy petals and lip are a pale buff-yellow with darker veins. The base of the petals features purple hairs and maroon blotches, adding a subtle contrast to the overall golden appearance.
