This multifloral Paphiopedilum species is known as the queen of Paphiopedilum, well known for its incredibly long petals that can be around 50-90 cm in length. This selected plant bloomed in Taiwan with petals of around 70 cm in length and broad dorsal petals. When the plant is more mature, the petals can possibly be more than 100cm in length. This species is highly sought after and has a very limited supply, mainly due to the difficulty in breeding, and the slow growth rate.
