This Phalaenopsis species discovered a few years back is quite rare and difficult to come by. This species is difficult to germinate and extremely slow growing in the flask stage. It is closely related to Phalaenopsis gigantea but smaller in size. The inflorescences are able to branch, producing 10-30 flowers on each spike. The flowers are green in colour, around 4 cm in size and have brown to purple stripes.
