This stunning "Fire Orchid" blooms on an axillary, branching inflorescence up to 45 cm long, carrying many showy flowers. Each blossom is a striking combination: a yellow dorsal sepal, broad red lateral sepals with wavy margins, and yellow petals heavily spotted with red. The flowers are long-lasting and produce a light, fruity scent.
