This selected variety lives up to its name with a dramatic, high-contrast bloom. The fragrant flowers are large and full-shaped, with broad petals whose base color is a rich golden yellow that bleeds into deep magenta-red at the margins and tips—creating a flame-like or sunset effect across the petals. The lip is the darkest element of the flower: a solid, velvety deep burgundy-red with a ruffled, wavy edge that curls dramatically, contrasting sharply against the brighter petals.
