A striking caudiciform plant from Thailand, famous for its large, perfectly round leaves up to 20 cm wide. The leaves have prominent, light-colored veins and can develop stunning neon green or turquoise tones. It grows from a sculptural, woody caudex that stores water, making it drought-tolerant. The plant is deciduous, losing its leaves in winter and re-sprouting in spring.
