Stereochilus erinaceus is a miniature, hot-to-warm growing orchid from Southeast Asia. It features fleshy, lanceolate leaves and produces small, waxy, white to pale yellow flowers (approx. 0.8 cm) with red-purple markings. The flowers have a distinctive spur at the lip base.
